Here’s something Alanis Morissette missed from ‘Ironic’: the fact we so often set up our businesses to do things our own way, and then end up feeling like we have to be chained to our desk at all times. 

But what’s the point of creating freedom and flexibility for ourselves in our business if we don’t use it? 

Our YAYcations are designed to help you travel without losing momentum in your business. They create space for both work and play, with a community of kindred small business spirits to support you.

Balance productivity and adventure, laptops and lapping waves, calls and café con leche. 

Because if you’re going to circle back, you might as well do it in the sunshine.

We firmly believe that juggling business and travel shouldn’t have to be difficult, so we built YAYcations to give you both (at the same time!) At their heart, they’re unstructured, casual, affordable coworking holidays designed to help you work on your business whilst experiencing the world.

We provide the location, the setting, and the group of amazing small business owners; what you choose to do in that time is totally up to you.

When we’re not planning YAYcations, we’re a Virtual Assistant Agency and Operations Management team – so rest assured that we’ve covered every detail when planning the trip.

  • Apply to join us on a YAYcation

  • Pay the deposit + sign our Ts&Cs

  • Book your flights (we’ll give you the dates & details)

  • Add it to your calendar and get excited

  • Pay the remaining balance

  • Pack (we’ll send you a checklist)

  • Arrive at the villa - it’s time for your YAYcation to officially begin!

    ​​Spending a week somewhere sunny, working on my business and actually switching off? Dream combo!It felt so good to take a break from the usual routine and be surrounded by like-minded people who genuinely enjoy what they do, we were all on the same page, which made everything feel easy and natural.

    There was no pressure or fixed schedule, just peaceful mornings by the pool or the sea, focused work sessions around the house and plenty of time to chat, share ideas and get inspired. Evenings were for winding down with cocktails (shoutout to Mary for being an amazing host and making the best margs 🍸) and dinners that felt more like a treat than a to-do. It was the kind of week that gave me a boost and left me energised to dive back into my business and I can’t wait to do it all over again!

    I absolutely love a change of scenery when it comes to working, and the workation at the villa was such a good reset before heading into my busy season. It was the perfect balance of head down during the day, then properly switching off in the evenings with a great group, some drinks and good food. Having the Spanish supermarket just down the road for snacks and supplies was also a 10/10 highlight! 

    Mary was nothing short of a FABULOUS host as you can expect so you bet I'll be back on another one as soon as I can!

She knows how to perfectly blend productivity and fun, when to give you space to knuckle down and when to turn up the vibes.  She's real "Proof it's possible" vibes -- and you get to be part of that, which is SO WONDERFUL. Our week in Spain was genuinely a bucket list moment in my business and a real highlight/turning point of the year. I can't wait to go back again and soak up even more magic!

    I had an amazing week away! I loved that it was very low pressure, and relaxed. Having semi structure of an activity / workshop in the morning followed by 'do what you need to do' time in the afternoon really suited my needs and the way I like to work. I really went into the week with no expectations other than wanting to meet and connect with other female business owners. It was SUCH a great group and I loved that there was such a range of business owners from very early days to much more established. I think my favourite thing of the week was hearing others stories of their time in business. I loved both of the workshops. I LOVED the hot seat session and found it super valuable. It also served as a great reminder to ask for what you need.

    A very productive and energising week. The group dynamic was excellent - a really great group of people who were consistently supportive and helpful throughout. There was a great balance between structured workshops and independent working time. It allowed for both collaboration and personal focus, which made the week feel well-paced and engaging. The group size felt just right - small enough to get to know and spend time with everyone, but large enough to maintain energy and variety. It never felt intimidating or cliquey, which made the experience especially enjoyable and inclusive.

  • We’re planning YAYcations all over the globe – you can see our current trips above. Wherever in the world we are, the vibes will be good, the wifi will be strong, and the views will be incredible. Got somewhere you’d love to visit? Drop us an email!

  • No, food and travel is in addition to the base cost. This is to ensure you can make the arrangements that suit you best.

  • Whatever you need to werk, and whatever you need to relax: comfy clothes, swimmers if that’s your thang, laptop, notebook, a little book perhaps and good vibes. Meredith Blake-esque sunhat optional but always encouraged.

  • A curated group of business owners and freelancers, who prioritise the same values you do: fun, flexibility, and getting the best of both worlds.

  • Short answer: the vibes are good, and the structure is loose. Longer answer: Yay-Cays are NOT retreats, so there’s no structured workshops, and you won’t be locked in a room until you’ve set your goals! Instead, think a balance of coworking, sea swims, down time for exercise/chilling, and then open time for sharing in conversation with the group eg. hot seating, Q&As, knowledge shares, and more.
